Dancing naked in the rain

Writer's picture: Simon WilliamsSimon Williams

I don't want to get ahead of myself, but looking at the long range weather forecast and judging by the last couple of days, I think we might be coming to the end of this dry spell.

What a relief at 2 a.m. to hear water dribbling into the tanks and to see - in the late half moon light, the hazy outline of a shower drifting across the bay.

So to all the equally relieved gardeners and growers out there, maybe, just maybe, we can put our clothes on and get back to work - unless a celebration is in order.
