Samurai Saws from Kanzawa Seiko in Japan are the perfect example of Japanese quality - but at an affordable price. The 270mm 'Ichiban' Curved Blade Saw comes complete with a sheath that can be easily attached to a waist belt. The 'Ichiban' is a classic curved blade hand saw that features an exclusive variable tooth design that yields a consistent resistance through the entire curvature of the cutting blade. This uniform resistance promotes full strokes of the saw and prevents inefficient short strokes. The hollow ground blade and impulse hardened teeth allows it to cut quickly and stay sharp longer than conventional saws. It can be used in any position but is particularly well suited for cutting above shoulder height. The rubberized ergonomic handle gives a positive grip in all situations.
