Yangmei fruit is highly treasured in its home of China where it has been cultivated for thousands of years.  The total cropped area of Yangmei in China is roughly double that of the area dedicated to apples in the US!   The fruit is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants. The flesh is sweet, sometimes a little tart, refreshing, delicious!

Yangmei plants are dioecious meaning that female and male flowers are on different plants.  You will require a male for pollination and the female for fruit.  The plants do not show gender until they reach maturity.  We recommend at least 3 plants.

These plants have been grown from our own seed produced in Northland.  These are the only seedlings we have, our plants have not produced fruit in the last couple of years since this batch due to damage from the crazy weather.  Very limited number - available Spring 2024
